Writing

Poetry, fiction, essays even (I know, I'm slightly insane), all ways to put my thoughts into words. Probably not words that anyone else has any interest in reading, but words nonetheless. If I knew how to insert links here, I would definitely tell you to check some of my stuff out. As it is, just imagine that I write decently.

Reading

Ah yes, the passive counterpart of writing. And yet, reading is not passive at all if done correctly. Analyzing author's worldviews and perspectives, styles, plots. Feeling the texture of the physical copy in front of you (because yes, hardcopies are and always will be superior to digital books), smelling the musty, wonderful scent of an old, well-loved tome, falling head over heels into adventures that you know (and hope) you won't ever experience in real life, yet it's so cool to actually somehow be there through the magic of simply looking at the tiny black marks on the page. Anyways, that's reading for you.

Singing

I'm convinced that Lewis wrote Aslan as singing the world into creation for good reason. The Bible is threaded with countless instances of singing, of praising our Maker with tunes on our lips. We cannot live this life without the song of our Creator running through our souls and spouting from our lips. Singing is important, guys.
